Welcome to A Dash Of Luxury!
The discerning travelers guide to seeing the world
ADOL focuses on two types of travelers: couples and families. We keep affordability in mind with a dash of luxury thrown in. We believe that through experiences and learning about different cultures, travel makes the world a better place. Add in benefits like personal growth, and trying new things; not to forget creating lasting memories with friends and family, and travel makes us better people.
With that said, ADOL isn’t your average blog. You won’t see daily posts, we don’t exploit our kid for clicks, and while there may be the occasional non-travel related post, it’s rare.
When searching for a vacation or trip, personal experience is everything. That’s why a travel blog holds far more weight than user submitted travel sites. Rather than many single reviews of one destination, readers get to know us on a more personal level. By reading posts and viewing our pictures, you get a variety of reviews spanning continents and brands, all while getting to know our travel style. This in turn may help you make your own travel decisions. That sort of trust is insurmountable. We hope you find ADOL a place that’s easy to navigate with straightforward information.
How We Travel
Transparency is important. We travel three ways:
1. A hotel, resort, airline, tour company, etc, may invite us. Sometimes they cover everything. Sometimes they only cover a portion of the trip, and we are responsible for the rest.
2. Press Rates. These are discounted rates companies offer for review purposes. Sometimes they are offered to us, and other times we reach out to places we are interested in, think our readers would be interested, or even places readers have asked us about.
3. We fully pay out of pocket.
This blog is not our financial support, but our passion. We’ll never sell our passion. A Dash Of Luxury may make money through affiliate links, which is used for domain and hosting costs. Any extra goes to the places featured in a dash of GIVING, which focuses on helping some of the communities and places we’ve visited.
