I wonder how many bucket lists include Bora Bora? Yours should. I know Bora Bora is on my bucket list – the number one destination actually. It’s simply perfect for couples!
Our vacations always involve doing things – theme parks, tours – you name it, we do it. We’re always up and about. There’s always something to organize, plan for, get up for, etc, that just once I want to go somewhere where I truly do nothing – a real vacation. I seek paradise and that paradise is named Bora Bora.
I long to wake up in the morning (or early afternoon – hey, no plans here), and get dressed in a bathroom like this.
I want to be lazy. I may not even make it to an actual restaurant for breakfast. However, meals may be delivered to me in my overwater bungalow, via boat no less. And if the man rowing is included, I’ll take that too. Just kidding.
My biggest decision of the day will be a tough one – beach or pool? Decisions, decisions…. Or maybe we splurge for an overwater bungalow that has its own pool? I’m sort of plunge pool obsessed, ever since we stayed in a room with one a few years ago.
Then again, I may end up leaving our bungalow after all, especially if it means a totally awesome couples massage with a view like this:
Maybe I’ll even snorkel in one of the hotel’s lagoons? Or learn how to stand and paddle on one of those board thingys, but hey, no promises or plans here. It will all be all about relaxation!
If this isn’t paradise, I just don’t know what is.
So there you have it. The number one place on my (very long) bucket list.
I look forward to checking it off (maybe someday soon)? One can only hope!
The above pictures are of (clearly) the best hotel in the world, in the prettiest destination in the world (my review may be slightly pre-mature lol), The Four Seasons Bora Bora.
