I’ve heard people nickname Bora Bora as “Boring Boring,” and honestly, I can’t imagine why. Aside from it’s beauty, there’s a ton to DO.
For weeks, I’ve been torn on which excursions to book. I think I mentioned here, but we’re staying at the Four Seasons, and when I inquired on activities, they sent us a BOOKLET. So. many. options. Side Note: The Four Seasons Bora Bora has been SO FANTASTIC on pre-arrival information!
But anyway, back to activities – Do you want to jet ski? Sure, no problem! How about sail the crystal clear waters? Um, which type of boat? Because there are a ridiculously insane amount of options! What about snorkeling? Scuba diving? Surfing? Windsurfing? Parasailing? Swimming with sharks and stingrays? There’s even a romantic photo cruise! Want more? Okay! How about a chauffeured catamaran or boat? ATV tour? A traditional polynesian tour? Not enough? What about a helmet dive, or ride underwater on a submarine scooter? FYI: the only other place in the WORLD you can do this is in the Maldives!
Visitors staying at The Four Seasons Bora Bora don’t have to travel far for good snorkeling. The Four Seasons Bora Bora is home to its very own lagoon sanctuary, complete with an in-house marine biologist. Guests can book a private snorkel, or go on their own any time.
So what did we choose? So far, we booked two excursions – the shark and stingray, as well as the jet ski (and we obviously will be visiting the lagoon sanctuary). I booked both tours directly through Moana Adventure Tours, and will be posting a review upon our return. Thus far, they’ve been great – extremely prompt with emails, easy to book, and we were even able to pay in full, so it’s less we have to worry about while on vacation! Loving it!
