Most like to go all inclusive in Mexico, but I’m hoping my CasaMagna Marriott Resort Review will prove otherwise, as this place is simply heaven on earth!
So recently returned from a family vacation to Cancun. We had a wonderful stay at the CasaMagna Marriott Resort, and even snagged an unbelievable room rate that included transportation to/from the airport, breakfast (which, hello, Marriott breakfast’s are the best!), and a $50 usd resort credit daily.
Josh and I arrived the day after everyone else (since he couldn’t get off work the day earlier). The Marriott’s transportation was easy and hassle-free. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we immediately checked in and went to see everyone else’s rooms since ours wasn’t ready yet. We had four rooms between us – my parents, my brothers (they shared a room), my grandmother, and then Josh and I.
The hotel has an amazing indoor/outdoor feel, which I immediately fell in love with! Everything was so tropical and elegantly appointed.
The rooms and suites were gorgeous. I’ll start out with the suites – the first is the Caribbean suite, and the other the Magna suite.
They were both spectacular, however neither could compare to the presidential suite. With a small kitchen, soaking tub, whirlpool on the balcony, and stunning ocean and pool views, this room was hard to beat.
Despite the amazing suites above, Josh and I had a regular hotel room. While the room was not as big as the suites, it was still well decorated and large for a hotel room. It had a nice size balcony with a great pool and ocean view.
Each night we returned to our room to find a lovely surprise on our bed. Super cute!
The CasaMagna Marriott Resort is located right on the Cancun strip. It’s like hotel row here, but really, you’d never know, as the hotel’s beach was so private.
When you’re ready to take a break from the beach, the pool is only a hop, skip, and jump away. There’s only one pool here, but it’s extremely large and never crowded.
The Marriott’s sister hotel, the JW Marriott, is located right next door. They connect via a convenient walkway, which doubles the amount of restaurants for guests. Marriott guests can dine at either hotel and simply charge the meal to their room.
The restaurants at both hotels did not disappoint. From casual to fine dining, the options were endless, and throughout our weeklong stay we got to try them all!
