Disney’s Carthay Circle Restaurant, located in Disney’s California Adventure Park is one of Disney’s newest eateries. It celebrates the golden age of movies, with a posh lounge downstairs, and an amazing restaurant on the top level. It’s said to be one of the finest restaurants inside any American theme park, including the famous Club 33 that’s located in the Disneyland park.
Naturally, we had to check it out.
While I’ve heard fabulous things about their dinner menu, because of time (we had to catch a flight and wanted to utilize the most out of our day in the park), we ate here for lunch. Sit down restaurants are limited in Disney’s California Adventure, and after walking around all day, there’s nothing more I want than a sit down meal.
We both ordered the burger and fries, and while it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, I can’t remember the last time we dropped upwards of $60 for burgers. However, any amount of money is worth a break from the crowd and a blasting AC.
I wish we didn’t have a flight to catch, because we missed out on the World of Color show. The Carthay Circle Restaurant is a participant and offers a World of Color package, so diners get a prime viewing spot. It’s similar to the Fantasmic package offered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando. I guess there’s always next time.
Nevertheless, while the restaurant is pricey, it’s impressive, and the service is amazing! I highly recommend checking it out!
