Disneyland Blue Bayou Restaurant Review

Disneyland Blue Bayou Restaurant Review

One of my favorite things about Disney World is their food. I love all the specialty restaurants to choose from. While Disneyland doesn’t offer nearly as much, the ones they do have surely stand out, in particular Disneyland’s Blue Bayou restaurant. Disneyland’s Blue Bayou Restaurant is located in New Orleans Square, just around the corner from the Haunted Mansion and the Pirates of the Caribbean ride entrance.

What makes this eatery so amazing? Well, Blue Bayou is located INSIDE the Pirate’s of the Caribbean ride. INSIDE!! Here’s a view of the restaurant while on the ride:

It’s hands down one of the best restaurant locations ever. To top it off, they serve filet mignon with béarnaise sauce, which is my very own personal downfall. We had to dine here!

While the food was good, the reason you go here is for the ambience. I wouldn’t necessarily return for my meal, but I sure would again, just to eat inside the ride. Too cool!

Advanced reservations are highly recommended, as this is one of, if not the most sought after meal in the park (after Club 33 of course). You can read about our day at Disneyland here, and stay tuned for our day at Disney’s California Adventure!
