In Bangkok we stayed at the Four Seasons. It was our oasis in this bustling and very busy city. We loved everything about this hotel.
Upon arrival, we took the metro to the hotel (luggage and all), as we wanted to experience Bangkok like the locals. It was super easy to navigate, and there’s a metro stop literally next to the Four Seasons hotel.
Even though we didn’t arrive via the Four Seasons’ transportation, we were still completely showered with a warm welcome – a refreshing cool wash cloth and drink. It was the perfect wind down from the hustle and bustle. We felt extremely at home despite being in a very foreign place.
The dining options here are endless, even down to room service.
I loved the indoor/outdoor feel of the hotel! It felt very resort-like, despite being in the middle of the city!
Our room was amazing. We had a junior suite, which was so luxurious! There was plenty of space to spread out, and the L’Occtaine products were so good!
The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed ever. Each night I melted into the pillows. I felt like I was floating on a cloud.
Throughout our entire stay we felt like royalty. Seriously. Every staff member we passed bowed to us. I don’t know what we did to deserve it, but I liked it (ha! I kid!). For real though, such an amazing staff here. So friendly and always eager to help!
The concierge here also deserve a special mention. After venturing around Bangkok on our own the first night, we decided to book a tour for the following morning, rather than the DIY route we had originally planned. At 9PM, the concierge was able to book a tour for us – for early the following morning mind you – that’s limited notice, people – and even customized it to our liking. Now that’s service! And he was so knowledgable, friendly, and overall just wonderful!
Speaking of tours, I really love the detail the Four Seasons goes through in selecting their “go to” tour company. We’ve noticed this at every Four Seasons we’ve visited thus far. They do a such an amazing job at selecting the best of the best. You can tell they spend time carefully curating what they offer. It shows. Most tours are private, but don’t fear those that happen to be shared. Crowd is not in their vocabulary. A total gem in my eyes!
The pool here was very relaxing. It offered both a deep and shallow end, as well complimentary floats. The pool service is equally as amazing, as is the wonderful atmosphere. Someone was always setting up our chairs upon arrival, bringing us ice water, food when needed, etc.
While we didn’t use the fitness center, we had the pleasure of utilizing the health club facilities upon check in while waiting for our room to be ready. The locker rooms feature steam showers, a plunge pool, and basically any amazingness your little heart desires.
The spa at the Four Seasons Bangkok was one of the best hotel spas I’ve ever experienced. I booked a 90 minute “signature” Four Seasons massage, and was pampered from the moment I walked in. From choosing the scent I wanted in my treatment room, to customizing the pressure, I didn’t want my massage to end!
A superb hotel! There’s no place else I’d ever consider staying in Bangkok! Thank you for the amazing stay!
