The spa at the Four Seasons Bora Bora Resort is so fabulous. There are two coed hydro-pools. This place truly understands couples relaxation, because I for one hate when they separate us from relaxing together!
The amenities here are truly endless, and the entire complex is just so peaceful and relaxing. We actually returned the following day just to use the pool again. I mean, check out this view! Now imagine lounging on the most comfortable chairs ever. You can’t help but relax and drift off!
My most favorite nap ever. Heaven, I tell you!
On the actual day of our treatments, we arrived about 45 minutes prior to our appointments. It’s such a lovely stroll to the spa building, which is located at the very back of the resort.
When we arrived we sat down for a brief consultation with the staff, so that they could learn our preferred pressures. They also presented us with different scents, so we could choose which we wanted placed underneath us during our treatments. You can even get one with 14k gold flakes for an additional charge! I also got to choose my scent during my treatment at the Four Seasons Bangkok Spa, and it’s one of my favorite things!
So after we selected our scents, we went to our respective locker rooms to change into robes and slippers. Then we met up by one of the coed hydro pools. Oh my goodness, are these pools amazing. Absolutely S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G.
We chose to hang out by the pool that overlooks the snorkel sanctuary and Mt. Otemanu (vs. the other one, which overlooks the ocean). It. Was. Beautiful. Probably my most favorite view EVER. There’s also a scented rain shower and steam room, as well as complimentary sunscreen, aloe, and water.
About ten minutes prior to our appointment, we headed to the relaxation room. This room is so amazing, and the beds here are WONDERFUL. They are so soft, and you can move and adjust them any which way. I consider myself a spa vet, and this relaxation room is by far the best I’ve ever been to! We grabbed books about Bora Bora, laid back, and, well, relaxed!
Our massage therapists eventually greeted us, and we set off to start our couples treatment. I got the Polynesian massage. Mr. ADOL got a hot stone massage.
I can’t gush enough about this spa. I didn’t want my treatment to end! The best 80 minutes of my life!
Post treatment, we relaxed some more by the pool, before making our way to this hidden area of the resort. It’s just past the spa, and I read about it online. I was eager to check it out for myself. It’s basically the back side of the resort – the ocean side, and it’s so neat!
We took the long way back to our bungalow, and passed more of the snorkeling lagoon. The water is so crystal clear, and the coral is so bright and vibrant that you can see it all right from the path!
