This hotel review is going to be a little different than most, as I’m going to split it up into a few different posts. For those of you who missed it, you can check out the amazing room we had here, and some of the great excursions we embarked on, such as ziplining, hiking Arenal volcano, relaxing in the hot springs, and the riverboat tour we took in Palo Verde National Park. Now, onto mysuper amazing Four Seasons Papagayo Resort Costa Rica review!
If there’s one thing that’s done right in this world, it’s the Four Seasons and their hospitality. Every hotel needs to learn from this brand. They define luxury, travel, customer service – you name it – the Four Seasons has it.
In fact, by day two of our stay here, my camera’s memory card was full. It’s my fault, because I accidentally was using a MASSIVE size image setting. Their gift shop didn’t sell a memory card that fit my camera, so I couldn’t get another one. What was I to do? The concierge team to the rescue! They took my camera, unloaded the images for me onto a CD, and that was that. They seriously went ABOVE and BEYOND.
No matter where we were – one of the pools, or one of the beaches – there was always an attendant making up our chairs, bringing us fresh water, sunscreen, and basically anything our hearts desired.
Let’s talk about the amazing food at this resort. I’ll get into some of their restaurants in later posts, but I will say this: the food was fantastic. A good portion of our dining was actually done poolside, because it was seriously the most relaxing place ever that we didn’t want to leave. Not even to grab food. That’s saying a lot!
I’ll also get into the beaches in my next post. Yes, beachES – there’s more than one. I’m not kidding when I say this resort has options!
There’s little better in this world than relaxing on a hammock and listening to the waves…
Coming up, more from the Four Seasons Papagayo in Costa Rica!
