Continuing with details from our trip to Hawaii, today I’m talking about the Four Seasons Resort Lanai dining options. Like most resorts, the food is pricey, but it’s so good that you don’t really mind the cost.
Room & Pool Service
I’m going to start out with my personal favorite, room service! The selection is endless. Guests can place their room service order via their in-room iPad. It’s so easy. Even tray removal can be requested from the iPad. Order the seven layer chocolate cake and thank me later.
The poolside food is serviced by the Malibu Farms restaurant. We never sat down to eat and instead had it sent to us. I can’t rave enough about the Caesar BLT salad with skirt steak. So good!
This open, airy restaurant is located right off the lobby. I loved the breakfast here! We went daily, and while there’s an amazing buffet, I had the buttermilk pancakes the first day and was hooked. At night, this restaurant is a steakhouse, and there’s something to be said about dining with a view like this. The amazing food doesn’t hurt either.
If you’re looking for coffee or a quick breakfast, maybe before an excursion or something, this is where you’ll want to go! You couldn’t tear me away from One Forty for breakfast, and my daily caffeine allotment went to that seven layer chocolate cake! I may have had it nightly. Don’t judge. This place is perfect for snacks though!
This restaurant is up by the golf course. Don’t let the fact that you need to take a car to get there stop you. Ask the bell desk, and someone will gladly drive you. It’s not far, and very worth it! I highly recommend the burger. It’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely don’t leave without having dessert. There’s a chocolate chip ice cream bar on the menu that is TO DIE FOR! The softest, most delicious ice cream ever.
This restaurant is set cliffside, and looks so fabulous. I’m a little sad we didn’t get to eat here. They mostly serve sushi (which you can’t eat while pregnant), but they have some other things too. I had my eye on the wagyu beef, but I guess there’s always next time!
This eatery is located right off the lobby, and features stunning views and a game room! We played two rounds of pool after dinner one night. I almost won the first, but then I sank the eight ball. The second game I didn’t even come close. The burger here is great. They put the most delicious onion ring on it. We actually went back another day and ordered a side of onion rings because they are so good.
From fine to casual dining, the Four Seasons Resort Lanai offers a little something for everyone.
More from Lanai still to come!
