Getting from Bangkok to Phuket is a quick and easy flight. If you’re traveling so far, it’s worth it to include at least one other city on your list. So, if you’re headed to Bangkok, definitely be sure to leave time to visit Phuket as well. I promise you, it’s well worth it.
After our time in Bangkok, we left the busy city and headed to the beach for some rest and relaxation. We checked out of our hotel (Four Seasons Bangkok), and unlike when we got here and took the metro, we opted for a car service this time around. There are two main airports in Bangkok, and for this flight we were headed to the smaller one. We booked our car through the hotel, and what an amazing car service! Aside from being prompt, we had a clean car, cold water, a fantastic driver, over-the-top service, and an overall comfortable drive. Seriously wish we could have driven like this the entire way to Phuket. Okay, maybe not really. It would be something like a 12 hour drive. I’ll opt to fly instead, thanks. What was really cool though was that our car had free Wi-Fi! We used the time to check in with home.
Getting from Bangkok to Phuket is a short flight, at just over an hour, and there are many flights offered throughout the day. By 10am we left the city, and by early afternoon we were at the beach in Phuket. Not too shabby.
Coming up, all about our time in Phuket!
