Hong Kong is one of those cities that I can’t wait to return to one day (hopefully!). There are a ton of layovers from New York to Asia that stop here, so I’d say my chances are decent! Ha! Anyway, there’s so much to experience in this enchanting city, and that’s not even including taking the ferry to the city of Macau! We visited Hong Kong twice, thanks to our layover on our way to Thailand. On our way home, when we stopped in Hong Kong, we stayed a while, eager to see it all! Once here, we split our time by also visiting Macau (which I’m so glad we ended up doing, as we were originally hesitant. It was definitely worth checking out). Note: Click on the Macau tab in the menu, under Asia, to see for yourself! Anyway, parts I and II are detailed below. Part I focuses more on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, and the second part is all about Lantau Island, which is where you’ll find the famous Big Buddha and Disneyland!
