Everyone wants to know how to stay Disney deluxe for cheap, and I’ll share the secret!
A Travel Agent.
I’m asked about travel agents all the time, mainly if I use them. I don’t. They’ve never been able to secure a deal for me that I couldn’t get myself.
Now, I’m a believer.
Over the past couple of years, whenever we stay onsite, we’ve been renting Disney Vacation Club points from members (see here).
We did so this past trip as well, but we also tried out this new travel agent, and I’ve been waiting until we got back to share all the details!
So first, our rented points stay. We rented a studio villa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort – Jambo House. We paid about $163 per night. Add in housekeeping for $30 per day, and that brings the total to $193 per night. Rates when booking directly though Disney World, for the same studio villa, for the same dates, were about $313 per night. If we wanted a regular hotel room (non-villa) also in Jambo House, prices ranged from $339 to $389 per night depending on the view.
So obviously really happy with that deal!
For our second hotel, we are finally going back to where we got married, the Marriott World Center Resort & Spa. We are so excited!
I thought that was our trip, since we usually do two hotels. But then, a few months after we booked, I started hearing buzz about this travel agency. They apparently get exclusive deals through Disney, and I was so intrigued.
You guys – it’s CHEAP!
Since we didn’t book our flight yet I ended up adding on a few days at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. The super fabulous Candice had a deal I legit could not refuse.
I’ll play the number game again, because I just LOVE it!
When booking directly through Disney, the Yacht Club Resort is $355 per night. Our cost? $202.50.
What a savings! Especially when said travel agent ALSO offers discounts on park tickets when you book your hotel stay through them! Remember when I shared this information on discounted tickets? Well, I did even better this time!
For 5 days (one park per day, no hoppers), PLUS the water park & more option, for two adults the total came to:
It was such an amazing deal that we already booked our next year’s trip again through Candice! We’ll be staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Resort. I love splitting our stay at different hotels! I can’t decide between the Epcot and Magic Kingdom resorts, so I love that this time around we are doing both again! So, ready for some MORE awesome savings?
Disney’s cost for Beach Club Resort is $438 per night when booking directly through them. We are paying $215. Disney’s cost for the Polynesian Resort is $508 per night. We’re paying $239. UPDATE: Due to zika, and this, we were advised by my doctor to stay clear of Florida as a precaution, so unfortunately, we had to cancel our 2016 Disney World trip.
Seriously, anyone can book this deal! There are a few details: You must travel through select dates, you cannot add the Disney dining plan, and the deal is only available at select Disney deluxe hotels & room views. The only thing you need to book is a $200 deposit, with the balance being due 45 days prior. Have questions? See the savings for yourself and email Candice @ Candice at MagicalVacationsTravel.com.
Despite this sounding like an ad/sponsored post – it’s not. I received nothing for this post, and simply wanted to share this information with my amazing readers. After all, who doesn’t love some wonderful savings AND Disney World?!
