I’m always stumped on how to travel with perfume, as perfume bottles are obviously not made to travel. Most are glass, too large, and have the potential to leak/break while stashed in luggage. Even perfume samples/minis have leaked on me before.
Enter Travalo. The end to my perfume travel problems. This amazing travel product was introduced to me by my mom, and it’s fabulous. Between the two of us, we can probably fill a small store with the amount of fragrances we own, and I’m so glad I can now travel with some of my favorites!
Travalo is a small, 4ml bottle (it’s plane safe!), that actually fills from the bottom (there’s no cap to unscrew = no spills!), and there’s even a cover. Best part? It’s refillable and really easy to use.
To show how it works, I chose my current favorite perfume of the moment, Roberto Cavalli. If you haven’t smelled this perfume before, stop reading this right now and get to your local Macy’s.
Anyway, all you have to do is take your perfume bottle and remove all caps.
Then, flip over the Travalo.
On the bottom, you’ll see an area that fits directly on top of the perfume bottle.
Next, place the Travalo on the pump and spray away! You’ll see it immediately start to fill via the small window.
And that’s it, you’re done! Seriously.
Snap on the lid and pack away!
I’m so happy I can still smell great without having to pack an entire perfume bottle, or worry about packing samples that may leak!
