Today I’m talking about the luna park pool at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. It’s no secret that Disney World can be totally exhausting, which is why it’s important to incorporate pool time! The Boardwalk has two pools, the main being Luna Park (little factoid, Luna Park is also the name of the famous amusement/boardwalk area at NY’s Coney Island).
This pool gets mixed reviews, with the negatives claiming it’s a little “out there,” with it’s large circus tent refreshment area and massive clown faced slide. I admit, while it’s certainly not “luxurious looking,” it fits the hotel’s theme perfectly, and receives a huge positive review from me! It’s adorable!
The “clown slide” is one of the best Disney hotel slides I’ve encountered yet! The slide is modeled after a wooden roller coaster, and the theme carries through as you’re going down. So fun!
Josh loved it too! I’m pretty sure the life guards were laughing at how many times we went down.
Adjacent to the main pool is a small spa. For being “Disney’s Boardwalk,” the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk area doesn’t carry through to their pool areas. Talk about relaxation! I sure didn’t want to leave!
All in all, Luna Park receives a huge thumbs up! What a fun way to spend the day!
