Notre-Dame Montreal is a must-see. While we definitely favored eating, there’s still a lot of sights to see and cool things to do.
Only a short walk from our hotel, we were constantly passing by this beautiful basilica. It’s located right in Place d’Armes square.
To see the inside, visitors must pay a $5 admission fee. If you have the time, take advantage of the tour that’s offered. It’s included with admission, and two tours take place every hour (on the hour and half hour).
However, before you go, be sure to check the cathedral’s schedule, as it is an active church and closes often for events and services. Especially on the weekends.
If you’re looking to gain a little more insight on Notre-Dame Montreal, embark on the Grand Tour, which is an additional $5 per person. Visitors can also take a seat at the organ for an additional $10 (all of this is on top of the $5 admission price).
