Notre-Dame Montreal is one of the area’s best must-see’s. While we definitely favored eating (it’s okay for me to admit this, I’m not ashamed), there’s still a ton of other things to see and do, and in this post, I’m going to focus on the famous Notre-Dame Montreal.
Only a short walk from our hotel, we constantly passed by this beautiful basilica, which is located right in Place d’Armes square.
If you want to see the inside, visitors must pay a $5 admission fee, and if you have the time, take advantage of the tour offered. It’s included with admission, and two tours take place every hour (on the hour and half hour).
However, before you go, be sure to check the cathedral’s schedule, as it is an active church and closes often for events and services. Especially on the weekends.
If you’re looking to gain a little more insight on Notre-Dame Montreal, embark on the Grand Tour, which is an additional $5 per person, or take a seat at the organ for an additional $10 (all of this is on top of the $5 admission price).
Or, of course, if you don’t want to fork over the cash, seeing the outside is completely free. Nevertheless, this is a gorgeous, historical site, and a must visit while in Montreal!
