Paddle boarding in Bora Bora was something I’ve always wanted to do. I’m not the most coordinated person ever, and after seeing a bunch of people fall while paddle boarding in Moorea, it took me all of our time in there, plus a day into once we got to Bora Bora to muster up the courage. However…
In no time I was going from this…
… to this.
Paddle boarding came naturally. I LOVED it, and despite my fears, I never fell. The water is just SO CALM. Add that to good instruction, and before I knew it, I was a pro.
The Four Seasons Bora Bora has a full service water sports complex. Non-motorized water sports (such as paddle boarding, paddle boating, kayaking, etc) are not only complimentary, but come with instruction. It was so wonderful to not have to worry about a thing. Everything was right there.
WONDERFUL. Within five minutes I was paddle boarding around the resort’s tranquil lagoon, and I came back to do the same day after day.
Guests can paddle board (as well as take other non-motorized water crafts) to wherever they want – the beach (and it’s adorable mini island), your bungalow, etc, and the best part – you’re guaranteed to have a fabulous view wherever you go.
We mostly hung out around the water sports area, but did take it to the beach and to the tiny island as well.
