The Royal Palace Madrid was certainly my favorite thing to see in this lively city. This post highlights Madrid’s Royal Palace as well as the Cathedral.
I know visiting Europe can get a little tiresome when it comes to churches. I get it, and I’m with you. By the end of our trip, I was so churched out. However, located across from Madrid’s Royal Palace (highlighted below), lies a beautiful cathedral that’s worth seeing (even if you don’t go inside), called Cathedral de la Almudena.
You can thank Josh for the inside pictures, as I patiently waited on a nearby bench outside. I wasn’t kidding when I said I was churched out!
However, next, we ventured across the street to Madrid’s Royal Palace, which you bet I went inside. I fell in love with Madrid’s Royal Palace, but then again, I love most palaces. For only about 10 euros per person, the entrance fee is minimal and completely worth it! Don’t forget to check out the special room full of knights outfits and swords, which is located just off the courtyard!
The views from the palace are simply stunning!
Inside is fit for a king and queen!
The gardens are also worth checking out.
Thanks for following along as I highlighted our time in Madrid! It’s a fabulous city and we can’t wait to go back one day! To check out all our Madrid posts, click here.
