Our first day in Bangkok was both tiring and relaxing. After a long flight (and a stopover in Hong Kong), we finally made it to Bangkok. We spent the day poolside at our hotel, The Four Seasons Bangkok. Then we went to dinner at Sirocco Bangkok.
Although I wasn’t quite done unwinding, before I knew it it was time to get ready for dinner. I was so excited for our reservation at Sirocco, located in the Lebua State Building.
Some may recognize this restaurant from The Hangover Part II. The spectacular view wasn’t for movie purposes only – it exists in real life, and is equally as amazing as the movie portrays.
Unlike in the movie, we visited at night to enjoy dinner and see Bangkok completely lit up. While eating here will set you back a good $200 USD, and we didn’t run into Bradley Cooper or Ed Helms, I assure you it’s worth every penny! The food is fabulous and the views are breathtaking. It’s such a unique dining experience.
More from Bangkok coming up!
