Our first day in Bangkok was both tiring and relaxing (yes, this can happen). After a grueling, long flight (and a stopover in Hong Kong), we made it to Bangkok and spent the day poolside at our hotel, The Four Seasons Bangkok before our dinner reservations at Sirocco Bangkok. Despite being tired from traveling, we arrived early morning and didn’t want to waste the day away by sleeping. Instead, we spent it relaxing poolside.
Although I wasn’t done unwinding, before I knew it, it was time to get ready for dinner (the point of this post). Tonight, we had reservations at the amazing Sirocco restaurant, located in the Lebua State Building.
Some may recognize this eatery from The Hangover Part II. The view wasn’t for movie purposes only – it exists in real life, and is equally as amazing as the movie portrays.
Unlike in the movie, we visited at night, to enjoy dinner and see Bangkok completely lit up. Although eating here will set you back a good $200 USD, and we didn’t run into Bradley Cooper or Ed Helms, I assure you, it’s worth every penny! The food is fabulous and the views are breathtaking.
More from Bangkok coming up!
