The St. Kitts Marriott Resort is paradise. In fact, St. Kitts itself is paradise. Located adjacent to its sister island, St. Nevis, this destination is one of the most stunning Caribbean islands you will ever visit. Plus, it’s super fun “spotting” St. Nevis – it became our “running thing to do.”
Before I get into the resort itself, I’m not kidding when I say St. Kitts is amazing. Definitely do go out and explore the island – and don’t forget to check out some great souvenir shopping – the prices are unbelievably cheap!
Now back to my St. Kitts Marriott Resort Review. The St. Kitts Marriott is your typical island resort, and I mean this in a good way. I love how you can be anywhere in the World, and as long as you’re at a Marriott, it’s more like a home away from home. Between the amazing restaurants and relaxing spa, I was easily in my own little oasis. Not to mention, this chain hotel’s island getaway has a pirate ship in the lobby. Maybe I’m just a sucker for pirate ships, but this won me over from the start.
There’s even a casino, which of course, I’m also a sucker for. Add that to an inviting pool, and I never wanted to leave. Really.
Most of the time, you could find me doing what I do best – lounging poolside.
And this pool is definitely something to write home about. It was huge! Complete with hidden hot tubs, this water oasis was the perfect temp – color me sun burned, I mean, smitten.
Although I tend to favor the pool, the beach was also really wonderful. However, the thing about the beaches in St. Kitts are they are all publicly owned. This means it’s open to anyone, and not just limited to hotel guests. Surprisingly, this didn’t make it crowded by any means, just annoying, as there are vendors everywhere trying to sell tours and what not.
But, despite the beach not being “owned” by the Marriott, they clearly keep it looking amazing. The sand was clean and the water stunning.
And speaking of sand, it was super hot, and I mean BURNING! I literally burned my feet walking on it barefoot. You definitely need to wear shoes and try your hardest not to get sand anywhere near your skin. Oh that Caribbean sun, I swear it’s a love/hate relationship!
The water was so clear it felt like a pool, and really, what more could you ask for in life? Can you believe this picture below is of the OCEAN and not a swimming pool?!
We’re already talking about how the St. Kitts Marriott Resort is on our “must visit again” list!
