We visited a lot of temples while in Hong Kong. My personal favorite was the Wong Tai Sin Temple. It’s conveniently located across from the Wong Tai Sin metro stop (go figure). This temple’s claim to fame is, “to make every vision true upon request.”
Visitors go to not only wish for good health and prosperity, but to admire its beauty. The temple and its surrounding area is so stunning. It’s exactly what you’d expect to find in Hong Kong, and I mean that in a totally good way.
From the moment you leave the metro station you smell the burning incense. Once you step inside you’re met with bright yellow and red lanterns. Wong Tai Sin Temple deserves to be admired.
We spent a good amount of time walking around in the insane heat. Yet I still wish we had even more time to soak in the amazing atmosphere. The structures and statues are beautiful, and the culture is wonderful.
Isn’t Wong Tai Sin Temple Hong Kong so gorgeous?
