We visited a lot of temples during our trip to Asia, and my personal favorite was the Wong Tai Sin Temple Hong Kong, conveniently located across from the Wong Tai Sin Metro stop (go figure). This temple’s claim to fame is “to make every vision true upon request.”
Visitors go to not only wish for good health and prosperity, but to admire its beauty. The temple itself, and the surrounding area, is absolutely stunning. The decor is so ornate, which is right up my alley!
This temple is exactly what you’d expect to find in Hong Kong, and I mean that in a good way. From the moment you leave the metro station and smell the burning incense, to the bright yellow and red lanterns, and I can’t forget the amazing statues, Wong Tai Sin Temple deserves to be admired.
Despite spending a good amount of time walking around in the insane heat, I still wish we had even more time to soak in the amazing atmosphere here. Nevertheless, we had a lot on our agenda today, and only made this a quick stop. I know I can’t wait to hopefully visit again one day, as I feel like Hong Kong is one of those places I could visit over and over again, and still not see everything.

Still more from Hong Kong coming up, but first, we’re taking a break and heading to Macau!
